Features
The familiar Camino interface, with Safari’s WebKit engine underneath. Native Mac windows, a proper toolbar, and a little trip back to 2012.
Tabs and windows
Open a new tab or window, move between tabs, and use Tab Overview to see what you have open. Macino can remember your windows and tabs between visits. Read about tabs and windows.
Bookmarks
Keep favourites in folders and on the bookmarks toolbar, or save a set of tabs as a tab group. Import your old Camino profile or a bookmark file from another browser. Read about bookmarks.
Find, save and download
Find text on a page, highlight matches with Find All, save a web archive, or save the page’s source or text. Downloads have their own window. Read about saving and downloads.
Preferences that feel like home
Cookie and pop-up controls, saved passwords in the macOS Keychain, and your choice of search engine. The interface is familiar; some of the old Gecko options have changed with the move to WebKit. Read about privacy and security.
Universal Application
Macino builds for Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 26 or later. It keeps its own copy of an imported Camino profile, leaving the original folder intact.
A few things have changed
Old Gecko plug-ins and extensions do not run in Macino. Private browsing, website notifications and screen sharing are not currently supported. For the current release’s limitations, see the release notes.
