Release notes
The full release is being prepared. Its version, release date and final download have not been published.
What the revival brings
- Camino’s native interface with WebKit page rendering.
- A universal application for Apple silicon and Intel Macs on macOS 26 or later.
- Supported Camino-profile import, native bookmarks and tabs.
- Updated page saving, Find All, privacy controls and profile recovery.
Current limitations
Private browsing, automatic updates, website notifications and screen sharing are not implemented. Gecko plug-ins and extensions are not supported. Some features depend on the WebKit supplied with macOS.
These notes describe the current implementation, not a downloadable final artifact. The full release will have its own permanent notes and verified download metadata.
