Updating Macino

Macino currently uses manual updates. There is no automatic update service.

Check the Download page and release notes for the latest published version.
Download the new release and keep a backup of your data.
Quit Macino.
Replace the Macino app in Applications with the new one, then reopen it.

Replacing the application does not require deleting your profile folder. Keep your existing data in place. If an update has special migration requirements, its release notes will explain them.

The full-release artifact and announcement are still being prepared; no final release is available from this site yet.
