Source code and application notices
Macino is derived from Camino. Original source files retain their licensing notices, including the MPL 1.1 / GPL 2.0 / LGPL 2.1 alternatives where stated. Component and artwork notices are separate. The application’s bundled about:license and about:credits pages preserve its notices.
The source corresponding to a distributed release and its final notices will accompany that release. See Your rights.
Website licensing
This site adapts the Camino Project’s 2012 website layout and look and feel, with new Macino branding, rewritten copy, responsive styling and current documentation. The adapted website design and content are offered under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0, following Camino’s website licence.
Artwork and fonts
The header uses Macino’s icon. Its star texture is newly created SVG artwork. Amasis Pro Regular is licensed from Monotype/MyFonts for this website; the font files are not covered by the website’s Creative Commons licence.
The homepage screenshot shows Macino displaying Wikipedia’s Camino article. The displayed article and third-party graphics retain their own credits and licences.
Names and independence
Macino is independent of Mozilla and the original Camino Project. Product names and third-party logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement.
