Search engines

Use the search field’s menu to choose an engine. Search the Web… (⌥⌘F) moves focus to that field.

Manage Search Engines

Choose Manage Search Engines from the search menu to rename, reorder or remove installed engines and set the default. Restore Default Search Engines restores the bundled set.

Additional engines

Macino’s importer supports XML search plug-ins, including OpenSearch descriptions. Availability depends on what a website offers. The manager edits engine names and order; it does not provide a general URL-template editor.

Search this site

The bundled “Search this Site” engine sends your query and the current site’s domain to Google. Other search queries go to the engine you select. See Privacy and security.
