Safari Migration Guide
Bring your bookmarks across while leaving Safari’s data in place.
- Make a bookmark backup first.
- In Macino, choose File → Import Bookmarks….
- If Safari is offered, select it and choose Import. If macOS prevents access to Safari’s bookmark file, use an HTML bookmark export instead.
- Select the exported HTML file in Macino’s import dialog. Your bookmarks appear in an imported folder.
Safari’s export options vary by version. Macino accepts bookmark HTML files, not a complete Safari browsing-data ZIP. This bookmark import does not transfer Safari history, passwords, cookies, Reading List or extensions.
