Firefox Migration Guide
Use an HTML export for current Firefox bookmarks. Its automatic backup format is different.
- In Firefox, open Bookmarks → Manage Bookmarks.
- In the Library window, choose Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML…, and save the file.
- In Macino, choose File → Import Bookmarks… and select that HTML file.
- Open Show All Bookmarks to organise the imported folder.
Firefox’s JSON and JSONLZ4 backups are for Firefox restoration; Macino’s bookmark importer does not read them. This transfer does not bring Firefox passwords, history, cookies, extensions or open tabs.
